Since the early times, herbs, leaves and plants have been used to control diseases. The use of drugs in itself does not constitute any danger because drugs correctly administered have been a blessing. The use of drugs could be beneficial or harmful depending on the mode of use.

Drug use in male and female population are quite distinct; differences in physiology, weight and hormone levels can affect the breakdown of drugs in the two gender.

Some commonly abused/misused drugs among females include:

1. Alcohol

2. Tobacco

3. Heroine

4. Cocaine

5. Marijuana
